Yes I am! Unfortunatley, I don’t know much about the recruiting process since I’ve been training with the u of s as a juvenile athlete for 2 years already and it was assumed I’d go there. There are many competitive athletic and academic scholarships available when you apply to the u of s (as well as a few wrestling specific ones I believe). Thanks so much for your support! (: I hope this helped!

“Enumclaw Wrestler’s Inspiration Never Far Away”- Definitely an inspiring story to read. My dad is my #1 fan.
Thank you so much! Hearing that truly means the world to me! It really adds to my passion for the sport.
Most likely, yes! (: We have a second set of trials to do in July, but I’m seeded 1st and our 2nd dropped out haha. So currently, I don’t have an opponent training for my spot on the team.. just me.
Highschool wrestlers: train until highschool provincials in March, done.
Club wrestlers: train until Canadian nationals in April, done.
Me: wrestle and train until Canada Games all the way in August, done.
My wrestling season this year will have lasted 11 months. I don’t regret any of it.

4th place, with a seperated shoulder! (: I lost my bronze medal match by 1 point at the very end of the third period. I saw lots of improvement from last year though, so I’m quite pleased with this result!
